The Light Keeps Growing… Can you feel it?
Not just in the moon, but in everything around us. The hedgerows are overflowing with life, beautifully fragrant roses seem to have appeared almost overnight, bees are busy from dawn until dusk, and although Bristol still can’t quite decide whether it’s spring, summer or the middle of October, there’s a definite sense that the world is stretching itself awake.
We’re now only a week away from the Summer Solstice, I always love this point in the Wheel of the Year, when spring’s excitement begins to settle and something a bit deeper takes its place. Less “What if?” and more “Let’s see where this takes us.”
It feels steadier somehow, more confident, more abundant.
Here at The Goddess Haven, we’re beginning to feel that too. The new premises no longer feeling unfamiliar. The shelves are becoming well-loved, the treatment room has already welcomed lots of wonderful clients, new and regular alike, the crystal bowls have filled the rooms with their beautiful resonance, the drums have echoed through the walls, and each gathering leaves behind another little layer of warmth and connection.
It’s no longer just a building, it’s becoming a home, and not just for me, but for everyone who walks through the door to a Goddess haven event or treatment.
This Week’s Moon Journey
This week feels beautifully balanced.
We begin under a waning gibbous Moon in Gemini, a wonderful time to reflect on what you’ve learned recently, before stepping into the fresh possibilities of Monday’s New Moon.
As the week unfolds, we’ll journey through the nurturing waters of Cancer, the confident fire of Leo, and finish with the grounded practicality of Virgo.
Each phase offers something different, inviting us to move gently from reflection into intention, and finally into action.
Sunday – Waning Moon in Gemini
Gemini encourages curiosity. Before you rush into making plans for the next lunar cycle, spend a little time looking backwards.
What conversations changed you recently?
What lesson keeps appearing?
What have you learned that you don’t want to forget?
Gemini Ritual
Make yourself your favourite drink and spend ten minutes writing freely.
No prompts.
No rules.
Just let your thoughts flow onto the page.
Sometimes clarity arrives when we stop trying to organise it.
Monday – New Moon
A brand new lunar cycle begins. New moons aren’t about trying to reinvent yourself overnight, they’re about planting seeds, quietly & intentionally.
Choose three intentions this month.
One for your wellbeing.
One for your relationships.
One for your future.
Instead of asking,
“What do I want to achieve?”
Try asking,
“Who do I want to become?”
The answer is often much more meaningful.
🌑 New Moon Ritual
Light a candle.
Place your journal beside it.
Write three intentions for the month ahead.
Then beneath each one, write one tiny action you can take this week.
Tiny steps become remarkable journeys.
Tuesday – Moon in Cancer
Cancer gently reminds us that we don’t always need to be productive.
Sometimes the most productive thing we can do is rest.
Make nourishing food, spend time with people we love, laugh, read, or sit in the garden.
Listen to the rain if that’s what June has decided to offer us.
Cancer Ritual
Fill a mug with your favourite tea.
Hold it with both hands.
Close your eyes for a moment and simply ask,
“What do I need today?”
Then honour the answer, however small.
Thursday & Friday – Waxing Crescent in Leo
Now we begin to build… Leo brings confidence, Creativity, Joy, and perhaps most importantly… Permission to stop hiding.
If there’s something you’ve been thinking about doing…Start.
Not perfectly. Not fearlessly. Just honestly.
Leo Ritual
Stand comfortably with your feet firmly on the floor.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
Raise your arms gently overhead.
As you exhale, lower them slowly while saying:
“I trust myself.”
Repeat this five times.
It’s amazing how differently your body feels when your breath and your words begin working together.
Saturday – Moon in Virgo
Virgo arrives just in time to remind us that abundance isn’t created by doing everything.
It’s created by doing the right things consistently.
You don’t need to organise your entire life today, just one drawer, one email, one booking, one promise to yourself. That’s enough.
Virgo Ritual
Write a list of everything currently on your mind.
Now circle just three things.
The rest can wait.
Your energy deserves protecting too.
Looking Towards the Solstice
This week is also a beautiful opportunity to begin preparing for the Summer Solstice.
Not with pressure, but with appreciation. Take the time to notice what’s flourishing.
The flowers you’ve planted, the friendships you’ve nurtured, the confidence you’ve slowly built, the dreams that no longer feel impossible.
Perhaps gather a few flowers on a wal, dry some herbs, spend a little longer watching the sunset. Or simply make a quiet list of everything you’re grateful has grown since the dark days of winter.
Solstice isn’t only about welcoming the light.
It’s about recognising the light you’ve already created.
A Gentle Invitation
One thing I’ve been reminded of recently is just how difficult many of us find it to simply pause. We’re so used to doing, planning, helping everyone else, being productive and crossing things off endless lists.
Sometimes the bravest thing we can do is book an hour that’s entirely for ourselves.
Whether that’s joining a circle, experiencing a sound bath, enjoying Reiki, crystal healing, massage, a Sacred Sole Ritual, or simply allowing yourself space to breathe…
Rest isn’t a reward. It’s part of being well.
If you’ve been thinking about booking a one-to-one therapy, perhaps this is your gentle reminder that you’re worthy of the same care you so freely give to everyone else.
Weekly Intention
“I welcome this new cycle with curiosity and courage. I honour small beginnings, celebrate quiet progress, and allow myself to grow into the light.”
Have a beautiful week.
I’ll see many of you as we continue building this wonderful little community together, and before we know it, we’ll be celebrating the Summer Solstice.
Until next week,
With love,
Marie
