Create your own unique set of witches’ bells while exploring threshold magic, protective folklore and the cleansing power of sound.
Join The Goddess Haven for a relaxed and creative evening as we craft our own witches’ bells for the home, doorway, altar or sacred space.
Bells have been used across many cultures and traditions to mark important moments, call people together, shift the atmosphere of a space and offer symbolic protection. Modern witches’ bells draw inspiration from these longstanding connections between sound, thresholds and the safeguarding of the home.
During this two-hour workshop, you’ll create a completely individual hanging using a beautiful selection of bells, ribbons, cords, herbs, crystals, charms, keys and other decorative treasures.
We’ll explore the folklore and symbolism surrounding bells and doorways, including why thresholds have long been treated as important spaces within household and folk traditions. We’ll also discuss simple ways to use sound for cleansing, intention-setting and creating a welcoming atmosphere within your home.
You’ll be able to choose an intention for your bells, whether that is protection, peace, strong boundaries, family harmony, abundance or simply creating a home that feels safe and nurturing.
Once our creations are complete, we’ll finish with a gentle group blessing and sound ritual, awakening the bells together before you take them home.
No two sets will look or sound the same, and there is no design you need to copy. You’ll be encouraged to follow your own creativity and choose the materials that feel most meaningful to you.

No previous experience is needed, and all materials are provided.

This workshop is open to complete beginners and experienced practitioners alike. People of all beliefs are warmly welcome and encouraged to engage with the traditions and practices in whatever way feels meaningful to them.
