Sunday – Waning Moon in Scorpio
Release, Renewal & The Balance Between Becoming and Letting Go. We find ourselves now in the quiet aftermath of last week’s Full Pink Moon in Libra, the intensity has passed… but what it revealed is still echoing.
This week begins under a waning moon in Scorpio, a deeply reflective, emotional energy that invites us to look honestly at what we are holding onto… and whether it is truly ours to carry.
And if I’m honest… this past week has felt a lot, busy, emotional, and full, not just for me, but for so many people I’ve spoken to, and yet, underneath all of that movement, there is something softer beginning to emerge.
A Reflection from Circle
At our recent Full Moon Circle, something really landed, we spoke about how life feels like it is constantly asking more of us, to do more.. be more… give more… show up more.
And how easily that turns into a quiet, constant voice in the background:
“I’m not doing enough.”
“I should be further ahead.”
“I’m letting people down.”
So I invited everyone to write down their inner critic. Their self-talk.
Instantly… pages filled.
Effortlessly, Line after line of criticism, pressure and judgement were written down.
Then we paused.
And I said something along the lines of… “If I asked you to write five or ten things you love about yourself… or things you’re proud of… how would that feel?”
Every single person agreed that would have been much harder and that moment said everything, because that voice, that harsh, demanding, never-satisfied voice?
It isn’t your truth.
It’s learned.
It’s layered.
It’s inherited.
And so, together, we released it, we tore the pages, we burned them.
We practised receiving kind words without pushing them away… even when it felt uncomfortable.
We allowed nourishment without guilt, sweet fruits, rich dark chocolate, laughter, tears, connection, just for a moment, something softened.
Yesterday in the Forest
Yesterday, during forest bathing, a small group of us noticed something that felt incredibly poignant, spring really is here! You can feel it.
There were buds forming on branches, tulips pushing through the soil, birdsong filling the air with excitement, we even spotted four majestic jay birds, moving together, bold and watchful. A rare and beautiful moment.
And yet… right beside all of that life, there was a small tree still covered in dark, dead leaves. Clinging. Unmoved.
It struck me deeply that this is the balance we are in right now.
There is so much becoming and so much new life rising, yet still… parts of us are holding on to what was.
Neither is wrong, but there comes a point where we gently ask:
What am I ready to release now?
This Week’s Energy
- Sunday–Monday: Waning Moon in Scorpio
Deep emotional processing, release, truth-telling - Tuesday–Wednesday: Moon in Sagittarius
Perspective shift, expansion, light returning - Thursday–Friday: Moon in Capricorn
Grounding, steady steps forward, quiet strength
This is not a week to rush, it’s a week to shed what is heavy, so you can move forward more freely.
Ritual: Releasing the Inner Critic
You will need:
- A piece of paper
- A pen
- A fire-safe bowl or dish
Step One – The Truth on Paper
Write down the voice of your inner critic. Let it come out exactly as it does in your mind.
No filtering. No softening.
Step Two – Witness It
Read it back.
Not as truth… but as something you have been carrying. Ask yourself gently:
Where did this come from?
Step Three – Release
Tear the paper. Burn it safely if you can.
As it burns, say (out loud or internally):
“This voice is not my truth. I release what is not mine to carry.”
Step Four – Replace
Place your hand on your heart.
Say:
“I am allowed to be enough as I am, while still growing.”
A Note on Balance
This week isn’t about forcing yourself into constant productivity, although yes, the world is waking up, and yes, there is momentum building, but its important to remember thhat we will still have rainy days, cold days, quiet days.
And on those days? Wrap yourself in a blanket, drink something warm, rest without guilt, because growth doesn’t only happen in the light.

This Week’s Invitation
Let this be the week you notice the voice in your head… and question it
Release what no longer feels true
Allow both growth and rest
Honour where you are, not just where you think you should be
You are not behind. You are exactly where you should be.
🌙 Weekly Intention Practice
Take a quiet moment today, place one hand on your heart, one on your stomach, breathe slowly.
Ask yourself:
“What am I ready to let go of… so I can move forward more freely?”
And then:
“What feels ready to grow within me now?”
Let the answers come gently without pressure or force, just awareness.
Until next week
With love
