Awakening the Fire Within
Waning Moon in Aquarius → Pisces → New Moon moving from Pisces into Aries
Something is shifting… After the emotional intensity of the recent eclipse, the energy this week feels different. Less turbulent, less inward, and far more awakening.
The light is returning now in a way that you can truly feel.
The mornings are brighter, the air feels softer, and if you’ve stepped outside recently, you may have noticed that unmistakable sense that the earth is beginning to stir again.
This week the moon moves through a waning phase in Aquarius, drifts into the intuitive waters of Pisces, and then ignites into a powerful New Moon that moves directly into Aries fire.
And Aries does not whisper!
Aries is the spark. The first breath of a new astrological cycle, that moment where intention becomes movement.
For months we’ve been reflecting, healing, resting, and wintering, but now the seasons are shifting and this is the point where the quiet stirrings of spring become something much more noticeable, something more active, something that asks us to wake up with it.
Sunday & Monday
Waning Moon in Aquarius
Let go of the old cycle Aquarius encourages perspective. It invites us to step back and view our lives from a wider lens.
The waning moon is always a moment of release.
Before we plant new seeds, we clear the ground.
Take a little time this weekend to ask yourself:
What habits am I ready to leave behind?
What emotional weight have I been carrying that no longer serves me?
What expectations am I ready to release as the seasons change?
A simple waning moon ritual:
Fill a bowl with water and place your hands above it.
Imagine releasing any lingering stress, frustration, or emotional heaviness into the water.
You don’t need to analyse it.
Just let it go.
When you’re ready, pour the water away, symbolically clearing space for the new cycle that is about to begin.
Tuesday & Wednesday
Moon in Pisces
Listen to your intuition Pisces brings a softer, more intuitive energy.
This is the final pause before the ignition of the new moon.
Pisces invites us to reconnect with something many of us have drifted away from – our relationship with nature.
Nature moves in cycles.
The soil rests, the seeds wait, the light slowly returns, and then one day, almost without noticing, life begins to rise again.
We are part of that same rhythm.
If you can this week, try to spend a little time outside, you don’t need a forest or countryside. Simply step outdoors and notice:
The air.
The sky.
The birds.
The first flowers beginning to appear.
Daffodils, crocuses, and snowdrops are blooming in abundance, fully announcing the arrival of spring.
Sometimes the smallest moments of connection with nature can shift our entire state of mind.
If You Can’t Get Outside
Nature can still meet you where you are.
Open a window and let fresh air move through your home.
Sit in natural light if possible.
Bring flowers or plants into your space.
Even placing your hands in soil while repotting a plant can reconnect you to the cycle of growth and renewal, the goal is simple:
To remember that you are part of the natural world, not separate from it.
Thursday
New Moon
Pisces dissolving into Aries fire
This new moon begins in the final waters of Pisces and then moves directly into Aries.
And this is where the energy shifts dramatically.
Pisces dreams… Aries acts.
Aries is the first sign of the zodiac. The initiator. The spark that begins something new.
This new moon is not about quietly wishing for change.
It is about deciding what you want and taking the first step toward it.
Aries energy asks one simple question:
What are you waiting for?
A Morning Activation Practice
Tomorrow morning, try something different.
Before you check your phone.
Before emails or messages.
Before artificial light fills your eyes.
Go to a window.
Let natural sunlight touch your skin and your eyes.
Stand there for a moment and breathe deeply.
Sunlight is one of the most powerful signals for our nervous system and circadian rhythm. Allowing natural light to reach our eyes and body first thing in the morning helps regulate energy, mood, and focus throughout the day.
It may seem simple, but this small ritual can be incredibly powerful.
Let the day begin with light and intention, rather than screens and distractions.
Aries Fire Manifestation Ritual
Light a candle.
Sit quietly and focus on the flame.
Fire represents transformation, courage, and action.
Say aloud:
“I welcome the fire of new beginnings.
I claim the courage to act.
I move forward with clarity and strength.”
Write down one bold intention.
Something that excites you slightly, something that requires movement.
Then take one small action toward that intention.
Send the message.
Start the project.
Write the first page.
Manifestation becomes powerful when we are willing to meet the universe halfway.
Friday
Aries Energy Fully Ignited
By Friday the moon sits firmly in Aries.
You may notice a surge of motivation, restlessness, or creative energy, follow that spark.
Take a walk.
Start something new.
Revisit an idea that has been quietly waiting in the background.
The earth itself is beginning to wake up now.
And we are part of that same awakening.
Preparing for Ostara
We are also moving steadily closer to Ostara, the Spring Equinox.
This is the moment in the year when day and night return to balance, and the light officially begins to take the lead again.
It is a celebration of renewal, growth, fertility, and fresh beginnings.
You might begin preparing by:
• Bringing spring flowers onto your altar
• Planting seeds as a symbolic act of intention
• Working with eggs as a symbol of new life
• Spending time outdoors as the land awakens again
Ostara reminds us that growth begins quietly. The first shoots appear gently, but they carry the promise of everything that will follow.
If you’d like to celebrate Ostara in community, I will be holding a seasonal gathering as part of The Witch’s Year – A Journey Through the Seasons.
Together we’ll explore the energy of the equinox through ritual, creativity, reflection, and sound meditation.

A Note for This Time of Year
For months we have been cocooning whilst we have been reflecting, resting. recovering…
But the light is returning now, the days are longer, the air feels softer and something within us begins to stir again.
You do not need to transform your entire life overnight, but you can take the first step, because sometimes, that first step is all it takes to start a whole new chapter.
Intention for the Week
“I awaken my inner fire.
I honour my courage.
I move forward into the life that is calling me.”
Until next week
With love
Marie xx
