Waxing Crescent in Aries → Taurus → Gemini → Cancer
There’s a subtle shift in the air this week, can you feel it?
Not the kind that arrives with trumpets and fireworks. More like the stretch after a long nap. The slow blink back into the world. The quiet realisation that, actually… you just might be ready to feel forward again.
January has held us in deep listening. In slowing. In nervous system tending. In wintering.. And now, as we approach Imbolc, something softer begins to stir, not urgency or pressure, just the gentle whisper of Something that wants to grow.
This is not the week for charging ahead, however, this is the week for preparing the soil.
🌙 This Week’s Lunar Flow
We move through a Waxing Crescent Moon, travelling from Aries to Taurus, Gemini, and Cancer.
This is growth energy, but it’s quiet growth.
Root growth. Emotional growth. The kind happening beneath the surface while nobody’s watching.
The magic is subtle. The kind you feel more than see.
Sunday – Waxing Crescent in Aries
Aries arrives like the tiny spark at the bottom of a candle.
You might feel:
• A sudden idea
• A creative itch
• A “what if…” thought
• A desire to begin something (even if you don’t know what yet)
Rather than acting immediately, treat today like noticing the ember.
A little witchy practice:
Light a candle and ask yourself:
What feels exciting again? What feels like it’s waking up inside me?
No pressure to do anything with the answer yet. Just notice.
Monday–Tuesday – Moon in Taurus
Taurus brings us straight back into the body. This is nourishment magic. Comfort magic. Slow magic.
Perfect for:
• Eating meals that actually feel grounding
• Wrapping up warm and moving gently
• Creating beauty in your space
• Touch, texture, scent, warmth
Try this:
Make a warm drink. Sit somewhere cosy.
One hand on heart, one on belly.
Ask:
“What would help me feel more steady this week?”
And let your body answer rather than your brain.
Wednesday–Thursday – Moon in Gemini
Gemini stirs the mind and invites connection.
This is a wonderful window for:
• Journalling
• Voice notes
• Talking things through
• Reaching out to someone you’ve been meaning to message since December..
A tiny ritual for Gemini days:
Start a page titled:
“Things I’m Curious About Right Now”
Not goals. Not plans. Just curiosity. Curiosity is where magic often begins.
Friday–Saturday – Moon in Cancer
Cancer closes the week by bringing us back home to ourselves.
You may crave:
• Quiet evenings
• Emotional softness
• Familiar comforts
• Extra sleep
• Gentle reassurance
This isn’t backsliding. This is wisdom.
Try asking yourself before bed:
Where did I honour myself this week? Even in the smallest ways?
Growth is not only what we build. It’s also how kindly we treat ourselves while building.
Preparing the Soil Before Imbolc
Next week carries the energy of Imbolc, the festival of new light, new intentions, new beginnings. But this week is not about planting seeds yet.
This week is about tending the earth they’ll grow in.
Ask yourself gently:
• What patterns need loosening before I begin again?
• Where do I need stronger boundaries this year?
• What actually feels sustainable for me now?
• What pace honours my real life, not an imaginary ideal?
You’re not meant to burst into bloom in January. Even the earth rests before she grows.
A Simple Waxing Crescent Ritual for the Week
Light a candle. Take a breath. Open your notebook.
Write three short lists:
1. What feels ready to grow?
A thought, an idea, a feeling, a desire.
2. What needs nourishment first?
Energy, time, rest, confidence, support.
3. What needs to stay intentionally soft for now?
Where you promise yourself you won’t push too hard.
Fold the page and keep it somewhere meaningful. This is not yet the seed, this is the soil.
On a personal note, I’m heading to a drum blessing workshop today with Hedgeways, I can’t tell you how much I’ve been looking forward to it!
There’s something deeply sacred about blessing tools we use in ritual and sound, about honouring intention, energy and the objects that hold space alongside us. It feels very aligned with this week’s energy too, tending what already exists, deepening that relationship, honouring what’s becoming.
Sometimes growth doesn’t look like doing more. Sometimes it looks like tending what’s already in your hands.
Haven Highlight: Intentional Mondays — Rise & Align
If you’ve been craving a way to carry this intentional energy gently into your week, I recently launched a new online offering that feels very aligned with this season.
Intentional Mondays is a 30-minute online space designed to help you begin the week with clarity, grounding and self-leadership rather than overwhelm or autopilot.
It’s not about pushing yourself to be more productive. It’s about strengthening your connection to yourself.
Each session includes grounding practices, meditation and visualisation, gentle empowerment techniques, and a short space for reflection or intention setting, all held in a way that feels supportive, accessible and pressure-free.
Cameras and microphones can stay off. You can join quietly with your morning drink.
No experience needed. Just your presence.
If you’re seeking a steadier, more intentional way to move through your week, this space might be for you.

Intention for the Week Ahead
“I do not rush the season.
I honour the quiet work happening within me.
I tend the soil with care,
so what grows next will be strong.”
Until next week,
With love
