Mid-January has its own unique atmosphere, doesn’t it?
The sparkle of Christmas has faded, routines are back in motion, emails are flowing, school runs are happening again and yet outside, the world is still deep in winter.
It can feel like an emotional in-between space. Life is moving forward, but the body and soul may still be catching up.
So this week’s energy is not about pushing harder, nor is it about retreating completely. It’s about supporting yourself gently in the middle of real life, tending to your nervous system, reconnecting with others, and allowing a little everyday magic to soften the edges.

We begin the week in the waning phase of the moon, moving through subtle emotional territory rather than big outward momentum. These energies are reflective, relational, and deeply human.
Sunday | Moon in Libra
Libra encourages balance, beauty, and relational awareness. This is a gentle day for checking in: with yourself, with others, and with the places where you may be giving too much or holding too little.
A simple question to sit with: Where could I soften today?
A small Libra ritual:
Light a candle and sit with a mirror. Look at yourself gently, without judgement.
Apply hand cream, brush your hair slowly, or make yourself a warm drink with intention.
Let it be beauty as self-honouring, not performance.
Monday–Tuesday | Moon moves into Scorpio
Scorpio can bring emotions closer to the surface. Not dramatically, but quietly. You may feel more introspective, more sensitive, or more aware of what you’ve been carrying internally.
This isn’t something to fix. It’s something to witness.
A good time for journalling, honest conversations, or allowing emotions to move through without judgement.

Breathe slowly and say:
“I build my life gently. I choose what supports me long-term.”
